The Dungeon series, starting with Color Cavern, puts the player in the shoes of an adventurer fighting through a Dungeon full of traps, puzzles, and monsters.

In Color Cavern, the player plays a sorceress who is dissatisfied with her mastery of exactly one spell as she pillages and plunders through a shiny cavern, fighting off baddies and whatnot. The arrow keys move your character around.

Z and X use the spells picked, and holding C recharges mana.
