The object is to obtain a hand with a point value as close as possible to 31, from which the name of the game is taken. Your goal is to reach a score of 31 (or highest score) with 3 cards. In your turn you can swap a card with the open cards, pass or swap the complete hand. Your score is the addition of your cards in the same suit (A:11, JQK:10), Three of a Kind is 30.5 points. When a player passes, all others get 1 final turn. The player with the lowest score loses the round.
